Note
Unattented rental cabin. Self catering, you need to bring your own food. Shared bathrooms/wc. Meals and/or transportation can be arranged by appointment.
Samatun rental cabin is owned by Melhus Red Cross.
This great cabin has two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a large living room, 4 tri-bedded rooms and 4 rooms with bunk beds plus possibility of extra bed, one family room and good oppurtunities for drying your boots and clothes. Large sunny porch.
Info: Over the summer of 2024 and 2025, large parts of Samatun will be rented out to a work team working in the local area. For pilgrims, 6 beds in 2 different rooms are available for rent. Please reserve a bed in advance. More rooms are available some days of the week. Bigger groups are welcome to contact us and ask for availability.
