Nidaros Pilgrim Centre is the official pilgrim reception in Trondheim. In the pilgrim reception, you can receive the Olavs letter (or pilgrim diploma), get your final stamps in the pilgrim passport, and receive a mark that gives you free entrance to the Nidaros cathedral. Our friendly volunteers are the main staff of the reception, and also offer you a nice cup of coffee and a chat.

The centre is located in a quiet and peaceful oasis in the centre of Trondheim, close to the Cathedral and the river Nidelven.

The centre is also a meeting place providing and facilitating pilgrimages. They organize meetings and seminars more or less related to pilgrimages, the St. Olav heritage and interreligious dialogue.

This hostel is accredited and recommended by the National Pilgrim Centre. It has met the same requirements, and holds the same standard, as the pilgrim accommodation along Camino de Santiago and Via Francigena.
