Ingedal Church is a long church in whitewashed stone. It was expanded and restored when the Werenskiold family at Hafslund took over the ownership of the church in 1728. The church had suffered great damages during the The Great Northern War (1700-1721). Swedish soldiers stayed in the church in 1717, where they among other things had a fire going at the floor of the church.
